Step-by-Step Operation

  1. Clean the Site

    Clear the setup area thoroughly. Remove all sharp objects, stones, debris, and potential puncture hazards from the ground. The site should be level with at least 1m (3 Ft) of clearance on all sides beyond the booth footprint. On concrete or asphalt, sweep the area. On grass or dirt, remove sticks and rocks, and consider placing a ground tarp underneath for additional puncture protection.

  2. Spread Out & Connect the Blower

    Unfold the booth and spread it flat on the prepared ground. Locate the quick air vents on both sides of the booth and close their zippers completely. Open the back door and verify that the internal air inlet zipper is fully closed. Critical: the booth will not stand if any air vents are left open. Find the blower inlet collar, attach the blower duct securely, and fasten the cinch straps until the connection is airtight.

  3. Inflate and Guide to Standing Position

    Turn on the blower and begin inflation. As the air columns fill, guide the booth walls upward using the handles sewn into the air columns. Do not pull on the fabric walls — use only the designated handles. Adjust the booth's standing posture during inflation so it rises evenly and stands stable. Inflation typically takes 60–90 seconds for 4–6m models.

  4. Secure with Sandbags and Ground Stakes

    Fill the included sandbags and press them firmly onto the D-rings at the base of each air column pillar. Fasten the D-rings on the booth's shoulder points to ground stakes using the provided straps. Drive the ground stakes into the soil at a 45° angle away from the booth for maximum holding strength. On hard surfaces where stakes cannot be used, use additional weight bags or water-filled containers.

  5. Prepare for Painting — Ventilation & Airflow

    Open the filter covers on both sides of the booth. Connect the exhaust fan power supply to ensure active air circulation through the filtration system. For 4–6m booths: use the zipper on the internal air column gauge to adjust the wind size — this regulates the internal pressure and airflow balance. Verify that both intake and exhaust paths are unobstructed before beginning any spray work.

  6. Post-Paint: Keep Blower Running for Cure Time

    After painting is complete, if the paint needs to cure inside the booth, keep the blower continuously powered. The booth must remain fully inflated during the entire curing period. Limit continuous blower operation to 8 hours maximum. If longer curing is required, purchase a spare blower and alternate between the two every 8 hours. This prevents motor burnout from thermal overload during extended operation. Never leave a running blower unattended overnight.

  7. Shutdown & Deflation

    Once all paint work and curing are complete: (1) clear all items from inside the booth, (2) thoroughly clean the interior floor, (3) turn off the exhaust fan and close the filter window covers, (4) open the front door zipper, (5) remove sandbags and ground stakes, (6) confirm the surrounding area is clear and safe, then (7) turn off the main blower. Allow the booth to deflate naturally — do not push or force it down. Once fully deflated, open the quick air vents on both sides to exhaust any remaining air.

  8. Fold and Store

    Straighten the fully deflated booth on the ground, removing any wrinkles or bunching. Fold the booth by bringing the sides to the center, then folding in thirds lengthwise. Roll from the end opposite the inflation collar — rolling from the collar end traps air and makes packing difficult. Place the folded booth into the daily storage bag. Store in a cool, dry location. Never fold and store a damp booth — moisture trapped in folds causes mildew and degrades the fabric coating.

Pro Tip

Mark each step as you complete it. The #1 cause of booth problems on job sites is skipping Step 2's vent check — an open quick vent or unzipped internal inlet prevents the booth from standing. If the booth won't inflate fully, check all zippers before troubleshooting the blower.
